Annual Easter Egg Hunt: April 4, 2020

Spring is just around the corner, which means it’s almost time for the Bartlett Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bonnet Decorating Contest. Get creative with a sewn, painted, or decorated Easter bonnet, then sit back as the grandkids enjoy the Egg Hunt for children ages 10 and under. As always, the Easter Bunny will make an appearance to kick off the hunt and take pictures with the kids.

Children’s Fishing Rodeo: June 6, 2020

Bring the grandkids to enjoy late spring in Bartlett at the annual Children’s Fishing Rodeo for ages 12 and under. This annual fishing extravaganza includes a fully stocked pond, prizes awarded in three age categories, and lots of outdoor fun. Bring your fishing pole and get ready for everyone’s favorite June event.

Fireworks Extravaganza: July 2, 2020

Celebrate the nation’s birthday at Bartlett’s annual Star-Spangled Fireworks Extravaganza. This festive event includes live musical entertainment from the Bartlett Community Concert Band and a capella group The Dantones, as well as a classic car display, concessions, activities for the kids, and more. After sundown, sit back and enjoy a spectacular fireworks show.

Fall Events

Bartlett Festival: September 25–26, 2020

Celebrate the beginning of fall: Mark your calendar for the 2020 Bartlett Festival. This fun-filled, family-friendly fall festival takes place over two September days, kicking off Friday evening with a midway carnival, vendors, and live musical entertainment. The festival also features a 5k run, arts and crafts for sale, a car show, and plenty of fun for the kids. Come hungry: The festival also includes a barbecue cooking contest and tasty concessions. If you want to participate in the finger-licking Bartlett BBQ Fest, you can sign up by reaching out to organizers at the City of Bartlett. It’s the best place to show off your secret recipe for ribs or indulgent barbecue sides.

Bartlett Christmas Parade: December 5, 2020

Celebrate the season with an old-fashioned holiday parade. The Bartlett Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 5. Want to participate? Note that this year’s theme is still to be determined, but float applications will be available in the fall.
