Assisted Living in Collierville

NATURE. Want to take a walk in the fresh air? Collierville’s nineteen parks, filled with beautiful landscaping and trails, won’t let you down. The Historic Town Square, with its old-fashioned charm and antique-styled clock, is a local favorite.

HISTORY. If you’re a history buff with a penchant for discussing the Civil War, you won’t want to miss the Civil War Roundtable. Hosted by the Morton Museum of Collierville History on Wednesday mornings, this discussion group is a great place to congregate with fellow lovers of history.

SHOPPING. Carriage Crossing is home to a wide variety of stores, including Chico’s, Christopher & Banks, Dillard’s, Macy’s, Talbots, Zales, and Yankee Candle. If you’d like to make a day of it, stop by one of Carriage Crossing’s delicious dining spots, such as Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Firebirds Wood-Fired Grill, Red Robin, or Milano’s Pizza.

TECHNOLOGY. If you’ve never learned to use a computer but you’re eager to e-mail with your grandchildren and loved ones, sign up for a complimentary computer class at the Collierville Library. It’s never too late to learn something new!

CULTURE. The Collierville Arts Council and Harrell Performing Arts Theatre bring a wonderful assortment of performances to town each year, from dance and music to musicals and plays. Also, be sure to attend the annual Symphony in the Garden if you enjoy orchestral music.

COMMUNITY. Collierville’s Fair on the Square occurs during the first weekend of May each year. Since the whole community gets involved, this is a great place to meet new people. There are shops, performers, and delicious food.

SPIRIT. The holidays are just around the corner, and you’ll be glad to know that Collierville really embraces the holiday season. You can attend the Christmas Tree Lighting, watch the Christmas Parade, listen to the music of festive carolers, or even enjoy a free carriage ride!
